Kenya High Altitude training Camp
Have you ever wanted to experience living, running and training the Kenyan way in Iten, home of champions.
Iten is perched on an escarpment with breath-taking views of the Rift Valley and at 2400m, it offers the perfect location to experience high altitude training.
This 12 night camp will not only provide the opportunity to experience running and training the Kenyan way, but also to experience the culture and Kenyan way of life.
The itinerary will include
Guided runs on the famous blood orange trails
A visit and oppotunity to run on the track at the famous Kipchoge Keino stadium in Eldoret.
Watch or if you’re brave enough, take part in the famous Kenyan fartlek
Visit the legendary St Patricks school museum
Visit elite Kenyan athletes homes to see how they live
Attend workshops with coaches/athletes
Have a go at the famous Kenyan diagonals and hill blasts
Visit the Iten market and interact with the local community
The camp is on a full board basis for 12 nights from 14th January – 26st January 2024. The places are limited to 6 people.
The accommodation is at the Keellu hotel, owned by Wilson Kipsang. The accommodation is basic (remember you are in Kenya) but each room has an ensuite toilet and hot shower.
All meals are provided, they are home cooked and will enable you to sample the Kenyan cuisine.
Transfers to and from Eldoret airport are included.
The cost of the trip is £850 for full board and transfers to/from Eldoret airport. A non refundable deposit of £400 is required to secure a place.

“I’ve been training with Liz in the build up to the London Marathon since January and from being exhausted after 5k to now cruising round 23 miles, I cannot thank Liz enough… She pushes me too the max every session and takes my other training sessions away from running into consideration.
I would highly recommend Liz with any running goals that you have! I will certainly be continuing my training with Liz into the future! Thank you Liz for all your help and support!!!”
